Equity Home Inspection, Inc.
Because You Need To Know

Welcome to Equity Home Inspection

Hello and welcome to the home page of Equity Home Inspection, we thank you for the visit and appreciate your doing so. Because a home is one of the largest investments most people will make in the their lives, wouldn't it pay to have an effective and comprehensive inspection of your potential home to help you make an educated and intelligent decision?

Of course it would. We recommend always having our clients with us when we do our inspections, that way you get the full benefit of having us provide you with an educational guided tour through the home. The process that we follow is designed to disclose the condition, and photograph all of the components in the home and at the same time give you an informal verbal report during the inspection. Asking questions is always highly encouraged.

At the completion of the inspection we will go over any questions or concerns that you may have about the home. We will then return to the office where we have a reference library available to research the report and to go over the photographs of the inspection. A photograph IS worth a thousand words. Because every home has it’s own situations, each report is customized to that home, each report done averages 30 pages. This allows us to give you the most comprehensive and understandable report available in the market. We can advise you to contact other qualified experts when major repairs are anticipated. We also provide free phone consultation as needed.

We specialize in Foreclosures and REO’s. Because these properties are considered distressed properties they can come with unique situations such as water and electricity being turned off making it difficult to properly test the components. Unfortunately former owners can sometimes cause a great deal of damage to these properties depending on the circumstances at the time of the Foreclosure. Therefore it is very important that you retain an inspector that has a working knowledge of the construction of a home. Former training and experience is key in these types of inspections and that's what we can provide for you.

If you are looking for an investment property we can also help. We are very familiar with multi family homes, mother daughter homes, two family homes even duplexes. As with single family homes they are treated in the same manner by giving you the same educational tour of the home. Multi family homes do have different characteristics than single family homes, such as heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, so we re-modify our inspections to accommodate the different types of properties.
